GO service suspended this weekend in the west

If you were planning to hop a GO train to Toronto this weekend, you may have to re-think your options.

There will be no GO train or go bus service on the Lakeshore West line Saturday and Sunday. The cancellation of service will allow the City of Toronto to remove the Dufferin Street bridge near the Exhibition GO Station. To compensate, GO Transit plans to beef up bus service on the Hamilton express route to Toronto, and on the Milton train line. You can find more information at www.gotransit.com.
