GO electrification comes with big charge

The provincial agency that plans transportation in this region is considering a new proposal that would have a far-reaching effect in this area.

It would put electric engines on the GO trains running to Hamilton and Georgetown. But the plan would be hugely expensive, and it’s going to be a long time before Hamilton commuters are riding an electric train. Al Sweeney has the story.
