‘Give me the keys right now’ Video shows terrifying armed robbery at St. Catharines home

Niagara police are investigating after a man was pistol-whipped and robbed in the front doorway of his home while his family slept inside.
It happened shortly after 7 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of Ernest St. and Dorothy St. in St. Catharines.
Police say a man in his 30s was heading out to work and had just exited his home. The victim noticed a car stopped in front of his house and a person exiting the vehicle.
Investigators say the man thought nothing of it and turned back to walk inside when a person armed with a black pistol confronted the victim at his doorstep.
The terrifying incident was captured on a security camera.
The video appears to show a person wearing a mask and a hooded sweatshirt running up to the front door of the home and telling the man to hand over the keys to his Range Rover which was parked in the driveway.
The victim can be heard telling the thief to calm down, saying his wife and five-year-old are sleeping upstairs.
Police say the suspect struck the victim with the pistol during the confrontation.
The victim handed over the keys to the suspect, who threw them to a second person in the driveway.
Police say the second suspect stole the Land Rover and left the area heading towards Dorothy St.
The first suspect who brandished the weapon is believed to have left the area in another vehicle.
The victim was not physically hurt during the robbery.
Detectives believe this was a random incident.
Police are looking for two white men between the ages of 18 and 25. Both men are roughly five-foot-ten with a slim build and were wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, black shoes, and a black cross-body satchel.
Investigators are asking any residents or businesses in the area with closed-circuit security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras to review their footage for suspicious activity between 6:45 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Niagara police.
