Travellers looking to get an early jump on March break — are packing Pearson Airport. How Canada’s busiest airport is handling all of the excited passengers.

It’s excited and crazy as people are anxious to try and get away from the cold winter we’ve had. Over the next couple of days they’re expecting over 200,000 passengers here at Pearson. On a regular day, it’s about 95,000.

Julian from the Mississauga Blues rugby team are off to London for a rugby tournament. “I’m very excited — happy to get away and it’ll be a great experience. We have a lot of time to kill so we’re just going to relax and wait for our flight.”

If you’re coming to the airport, there are limits on how much liquid you can bring on the plane.   Also, get there early — parking is at a premium.  And keep tabs on your flight status to ensure no late time changes. 416-Airport is a number you can call to check the status of your flight or www.pearson.com
