Gerry Ginsberg passes away

There are a lot of heavy hearts in Niagara wine country tonight…

Gerry Ginsberg, a man many credit with turning around the Niagara Wine Festival, died of a heart attack in his Florida condo… Ginsberg was frequently interviewed by CHCH as in his years running the festival. In that time he saw more wineries included as well as teaming them up with local restaurants. He left the festival in 2005. His latest job had been the General Manager of Canada Blooms in Toronto. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. Funeral details have yet to be finalized. Ginsberg was 64…
