Gas prices going up

Oil prices dropped on Friday, but drivers won’t see the benefit; at least, not right away anyway…

Because come midnight, the price at the pump will jump!

Gas is expected to go up about 3.1 cents come midnight, which means the prices seen Friday — in the $1.24 and $1.25 range in Hamilton — will jump closer to $1.30.

This time last year, the price was 5 cents less per litre.
