Gas going up 3 cents at midnight Saturday

Drivers may want to fill their tanks Saturday evening.

The price at the pump is expected to jump three cents a litre at midnight.

The price of gas at most Hamilton-area stations will climb to around 90 cents a litre.

Even with a jump it’s hard for drivers to complain, this time last year the average price at the pump was around $1.26 a litre.

World oil prices have dropped from more than $100 dollars a barrel in June to less than $49 dollars a barrel.
