If you plan to drive into downtown Toronto this weekend, you might want to consider taking public transit.

The Gardiner Expressway will close at 10:00 tonight for maintenance. The closure will be in both directions between the Humber River and Carlaw. Crews will be cleaning catch basins, fixing pot holes and updating lane markings. The highway should reopen no later than Monday at 5:00 a.m.
