Garden statue stolen

Halton police are trying to figure out who stole an expensive garden statue in Oakville.

It is a statue of Picasso cutting the lawn with a self propelled lawnmower.

It was stolen from a home on Park Avenue sometime between June 25th and 26th.

It was returned on Tuesday, but it’s been badly damaged.

Police say the statue is worth about $16,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
