Garbage truck rolls over on QEW

An air ambulance has taken a man to hospital after a garbage truck rolled over on the QEW at Guelph Line.

There were reports the driver was trapped inside the vehicle with serious injuries.

The two right lanes were closed at Guelph Line, but have since reopened. However, the ramp from southbound Guelph Line to the QEW eastbound is still closed.

Crews and investigators are still on the scene.
