Garage fire at Dunnville home causes $400K in damage

OPP say a fire at a garage of a home in Dunnville caused over $400,000 in damage.

Emergency crews were called to a structure fire on Sandy Bay Rd. around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The fire was contained to a detached garage on the property.

Fire crews were able to put it out and there were no injuries.

OPP say the blaze destroyed a vehicle, boat and trailer, along with tools and furniture.

Haldimand County Fire Services says the fire is not suspicious.
