Future of the transitional child benefit program

Founded in 2007, the program bridges the financial gap as new parents with low incomes wait on the Canada Child Benefit program.

However, the provincial government announced plans to cancel the program on Nov. 1st.

The move would affect 16,000 Ontario children.
