FULL INTERVIEW: “I’m not going to pretend Monday wasn’t a shocking day”

Canada’s governing Liberal Party has endured a tumultuous week which saw Prime Minister Justin Trudeau lose his Finance Minister when Chrystia Freeland resigned with a scathing departure letter.

Trudeau has faced a swell of pressure across the country and within his own caucus, pushing him to resign.

The Prime Minister is reportedly set to announce a cabinet shuffle on Friday and also cancelled all of his traditional year-end media interviews. However, Burlington MP and Liberal House Leader Karina Gould did not cancel hers with us and spoke with CHCH News Eric Vienneau today.
