The Hamilton man convicted of murder who escaped from a Kingston prison is now back in custody.

Provincial Police say Cale David Presnail escaped from Collins Bay minimum security institution on Monday.

The 40 year old was arrested without incident this morning after he was spotted in a Kingston park.

Presnail was sentenced to life imprisonment for second-degree murder in 1998.
