Frost advisory in effect for Hamilton and Niagara Region

Environment Canada says a frost advisory is in effect for Hamilton and Niagara Region.

The weather agency says widespread frost is expected early Thursday morning as temperatures remain near or below zero degrees.

Some plants may be damaged or even destroyed by frost. Residents should take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
