Freezing rain warning for Hamilton

A freezing rain warning is in effect for the City of Hamilton and much of southern Ontario.

Freezing rain is expected to roll in across the region this evening, and some areas are already seeing slippery conditions on the roads.

Parts of southern Ontario can expect 15 to 20 mm of freezing rain overnight, which might make for a messy commute as many head back to work tomorrow.

The cold alert has been cancelled for Hamilton after five days, but while we saw some relief from the cold today, last week’s frigid temperatures are expected to make a return tomorrow.
