Four people seriously hurt in three-vehicle collision

Four people suffered serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash in Halton Hills on Sunday.
A southbound car veered into oncoming traffic after a vehicle driven by a 22-year-old pulled out from a private driveway.
The southbound car, driven by a 72-year-old man, collided head-on with an SUV.
The force of the crash caused the SUV to roll into a ditch, trapping a 30-year-old man and his 28-year-old wife.
The couple was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
The 72-year-old man is also in serious condition and his wife, 76, was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with life-altering injuries.
The 22-year-old Halton Hills resident was not injured in the collision.
Police say no charges have been laid at this time and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
