Four injured in 403 Crash

A driver is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash on the eastbound 403 at the 407 in Mississauga.


Police say one car crashed into the back of a second car around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Both cars rolled over as a result of the impact, one landing in the right hand ditch, the other ending up in the median.

The driver most seriously hurt was trapped for almost 45 minutes before crews were able to free him.

The other driver — who is facing impaired driving charges — and a passenger in each car were taken to hospital, but they are expected to recover.
