Fortino honoured with bust

Shoppers at one Hamilton Fortino’s are now greeted by a bronze bust of co-founder, John Fortino.

The sculpture was unveiled this morning outside the Mall Road location. The chain was sold to Loblaw 23 years ago but the name was kept because of customer loyalty. Fortino, 76, died earlier this year of cancer.
