Fort Erie woman stabbed multiple times

A woman is in a Buffalo hospital and a man is in custody following a stabbing in Fort Erie.

Niagara Falls Police say the woman suffered multiple stab wounds but is in stable condition at the Erie County Medical Centre.

Officers later arrested and charged 42 year-old Ronald Kennedy of no fixed address with aggravated assault.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing in St. Catharines.
