Fort Erie school buses cancelled due to snowy road conditions

Snowy and blowy weather and poor driving conditions forced Niagara Student Transportation Services to cancel all bus routes in and out of Fort Erie for several school boards.

School buses were cancelled Thursday morning for the day for the District School Board of Niagara, the Niagara Catholic District School Board and the Niagara Children’s Centre School Authority.

Schools in the area remain open.

Families are asked to visit the ‘Alerts‘ page of the Niagara Student Transportation Services website for up-to-date information on school bus routes this winter.

The organization says the decision to cancel the bus routes “was based on localized inclement weather and road conditions”.
