Fort Erie race track debated at Queen’s Park
The Fort Erie Race Track and proposed festival remain a hot topic at Queen’s Park. NDP Leader Andrea Horwath accused the Wynne government of dragging their heels on the issue.
In October, a government report deemed that the 116-year old Fort Erie Race Track was not sustainable prompting the Wynne government to suggest the 400 million dollars committed to the horse racing industry not go to Fort Erie.
