Fort Erie plant closing

It’s another blow to Fort Erie.

Officials in the town have been told wind turbine manufacturer DMI Industries is closing its doors permanently.

There are reports the North Dakota based company is no longer willing to keep its Fort Erie location open which has been struggling for the past year.

DMI once employed over 200 people, but there are only about ten left.
