Fort Erie fire not suspicious: Police

Niagara Police say a fire that destroyed a Fort Erie home last week is not considered suspicious.

The house on Sunset Dr was engulfed in flames on Friday morning. 2 men were inside the home at the time but managed to get out safely.

After investigating, the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office says the cause of the blaze is not suspicious, and the investigation is now complete. Damage was pegged at $250,000.
