Disgraced Ancaster sailing coach Sean Hewson’s sentencing hearing has been put over to October.

Hewson pleaded guilty to three charges including one count each of sexual exploitation by touching, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching back in March. He originally faced 21 sexual-related charges involving seven boys in 2014. The boys, aged 10-16, alleged the incidents occurred between 2003 and 2009 at the Burlington Sailing and Boating Club.

Hewson has been set out on bail and denied chance to say anything in court yesterday. Several victims and their parents were in court and hugged in the hallway afterwards.

Hewson will be back in a Burlington courtroom October 14th.
