Former police station turned into temporary winter shelter in Brantford

It’s estimated that there are more than a hundred homeless people in the city of Brantford.

Many of them had been sleeping outside in tents in these winter-like conditions.

The city opened a temporary shelter to help get people in from the cold, but it hasn’t been well-received yet.
