Former PM calls Ford admission ‘startling’

People from across the spectrum are commenting on Rob Ford’s bombshell admission. On Square Off, Mark Hebscher and Liz West spoke with former prime minister Joe Clark who gave his opinion.

“Well it’s a startling announcement by the mayor. We’ll have to see what he does next.

“People in public life have an obligation to set high standards and I hope that will be one of the factors that mayor Ford considers when he looks at his next action.”

Ford has also become the butt of jokes on many late night talk shows since the scandal broke. Until now, Ford has denied using drugs.
