Former Ontario PC leadership hopeful under fire

Former Ontario PC leadership candidate Tanya Granic Allen is coming under fire for years-old posts about Muslims and gay people.
Granic Allen is seeking a party nomination ahead of the provincial election in June.
In online posts dating back to 2013, she argued against same sex marriage and compared women wearing burkas in public to “ninjas” and “bank robbers.”
PC leader Doug Ford released a statement distancing himself from Granic Allen, saying he wants all Ontarians to feel like they have a place in the party.
