Former Metrolinx manager charged

A former senior manager at Metrolinx has been charged with receiving secret commissions.

Police allege 47-year old Ashish Deb of Toronto facilitated the hiring of contract services while receiving secret commissions between July 2006 and October 2007.

Metrolinx is the provincial agency that oversees transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area.
