Former CHCH news director passes

There’s been a death in our CHCH family.

Former news director John McFadyen died at Hamilton’s Juravinski Hospital yesterday. He was 74.

McFadyen was news director from August 1997 to August 1999 and before that was a news director for many years in Kingston and at CKPC radio in Brantford. He also spent many years acting with several theatre groups.

A memorial will be held on Wednesday.
