Former Blue Jay Dalton Pompey joins the Hamilton Police Service

A former Blue Jays player has officially joined the Hamilton police force.
The Mississauga native first joined the Blue Jays back in 2015 and would remain on the team for four seasons before taking his baseball career to the United States.

Pompey would ultimately return to Ontario baseball in 2022 with the Guelph Royals in the Intercounty Baseball League before announcing his retirement from the sport at the end of the 2022 season.
Hamilton Police Service has now officially announced Pompey has joined the force with a photo of the retired Blue Jay donning the recent addition of baseball caps to their officer uniforms.
