Forensic pathology unit to close in Hamilton

Hamilton’s Forensic Pathology unit is closing as death investigations move to Toronto.

The unit here at Hamilton General will officially close next year, no longer investigating deaths in the region that spans out to Niagara, Haldimand, Norfolk, Brant, and Dufferin.

The union representing the workers says, the move will not only impact jobs but family members who have lost loved ones.
