Ford sued over jailhouse beating

New allegations against Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. The ex-boyfriend of Ford’s sister, Kathy, says the Mayor conspired to have him beaten in jail. Scott MacIntyre makes the claim in a lawsuit. He says the Mayor and two others were behind the assault which took place in March of 2012. The suit also names Ontario’s Ministry of Correctional Services which is responsible for the province’s jails. Ford’s lawyer has confirmed that the Mayor was named in a statement of claim submitted by MacIntyre.

Mayor Ford’s lawyer, Dennis Morris, responded to the claims.  None of the lawsuit’s claims have been proven in court.
