Ford brothers’ radio show cancelled

The weekly radio talk show Toronto mayor Rob Ford hosts with his brother Doug has been cancelled.

NewsTalk 1010 says the decision to cancel their show called The City, was mutual. The mayor went on the air last Sunday apologizing for his mistakes. That was before he admitted to smoking crack cocaine.

The station issued a very brief statement, saying “NewsTalk 1010, mayor Ford and councillor Ford have mutually determined to conclude broadcasts of The City, ending with last week’s show. Of course, mayor Ford and councillor Ford remain welcome at any time as guests on NewsTalk 1010.”
