Footsteps for Families Walk-A-Thon

The Hamilton community came together to raise money for the Ronald Mcdonald house charity today.

The 5th annual Footsteps for Families Walk-A-Thon was held in Stoney Creek this afternoon, and had a number of activities for the whole family.

Participants raised money to support Ronald McDonald House Hamilton, which helps families with critically-ill children who are being treated at hospitals in the area.

Ronald McDonald House Hamilton expanded from a 15 to a 40 bedroom house in the spring of 2012. This year’s goal is to raise between $50,000 and $60,000.
