Food truck bylaw change giving restauranteurs indigestion
Updated A proposed change to a Hamilton bylaw is leaving a bad taste in the mouths of some local restaurant owners.
The change would mean food trucks could park closer to land-locked restaurants than they do now. Controversy surrounding the bylaw is ‘brewing’ just as 12,000 people lined Ottawa Street North today for Sew Hungry – an event organizers call the largest food truck and restaurant rally in the country.
