Fonthill cadets leave for Vimy

A group of cadets from Fonthill is off on the trip of a lifetime.

34 members of the 613 Royal Canadian Army Cadets left the legion in Fonthill for a flight to Europe today. There are also students going from Niagara and Halton regions, as well as Hamilton, London and the GTA.

They’ll be among nearly 4,000 teens from across Canada taking part in the 95th anniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge in France this coming Monday.
