Flamborough Santa Claus parade comes to town on Saturday

The anticipation is rising and preparations are underway for the Flamborough Santa Claus parade coming to town on Saturday.
The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. on Hamilton Street at Rockhaven Lane and then travel through downtown Waterdown before ending at the corner of Hamilton Street and Parkside Drive.
The parade is always held on the last Saturday in November and seating along the route is highly competitive, with residents setting up lawn chairs on the streets days beforehand.
Parking for the event is available in and around the parade route, but streets close at 6 p.m. sharp and will remain closed until the last float finishes the route.
Should anyone get lost or separated from your group, Parkside Daycare located at 145 Hamilton St. North has been designated as the ‘lost person’ location.
Kids can also bring their letter to Santa to the parade and Santa’s helpers will collect them and make sure they get to the North Pole.
See below for road closures in the area on Saturday for the parade.
