Five survive St. Catharines fire
Don’t have to tell them smoke alarms save lives.
A blaze that started in a homemade meat smoker destroyed a St. Catharines family’s home early Monday morning.
The fire at 16 Marwood Circle started at the back of the place and quickly spread to the roof.
Fortunately the family was awakened by smoke alarms and managed to get out safely.
Damage is around $350,000.
