Five days for the homeless

University Students at Brock are sleeping outside this week to take part in the “5 days for the homeless” campaign.

These students are raising money and awareness by giving up shelter, showering and access to food. One of the organizers told CHCH that they are trying to showcase issues homeless people face every day. The money raised will be donated to community care of St Catharines and Thorold. Last year the students raised over $10 000. This year they hope to reach $15 000.
