FirstOntario Centre transformation underway, targets year-end completion

Since the groundbreaking for the project started in May of 2024, the FirstOntario Centre is being transformed with a target date for completion later this year.

That transformation includes a complete strip-down and renovation of the bowl part of the arena.

There are currently about 300 people working on the arena renovation daily with that number expected to increase in the coming months.
