First confirmed Coronavirus-related death in Ontario

The first death in the province related to COVID-19 has been confirmed by the Ontario Ministry of Health.
The patient was a 77-year old man who died at a Barrie area hospital on March 11th.
Ontario Health ministers say the man was in close contact with a positive COVID-19 case that was recently identified after death.
The confirmation comes just hours after Premier Doug Ford declared a state of emergency in the province.
