Fire leads to grow-op discovery

Hamilton firefighters saved a dog — and found a marijuana grow op after a fire in hamilton Thursday night.

Emergency crews responded just after 11pm and found the grow-op in the basement.

The fire appears to have started in the garage of the home.

Two people who lived in the house have been charged with drug offences.
