Fire in Milton causes more than 1.5 million dollars in damage

The Ontario fire marshal is investigating after a large fire in Milton.

The home on Fay court near Ontario st., where the fire is believed to have started, was under construction.

Fire crews were called to the area just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The flames spread to the next door house and a third home was also partially damaged.

The fire caused more than one and a half million dollars in damage.

Investigators say there is no reason to believe the fire is suspicious.

There are no reported injuries.
