A luxury home in Niagara Falls was destroyed by a fire early Saturday morning.

Crews were called to the house on Flora Court in the city’s west end just before 3:00 a.m.

More than 20 firefighters battled the blaze, which had fully engulfed the roof of the two-storey house. The family managed to escape the fire unharmed, but the house sustained serious fire and water damage.

The Ontario Fire Marshall’s office has been called in to investigate the cause.

The home was valued at $875,000.
