Fire destroys Milton home

Fire destroyed a home in Milton Saturday night.

The blaze broke out at the home on Donnelly Street around 10:30.

When fire crews arrived the garage was fully engulfed in flames and the blaze was spreading to the top floor.

20 firefighters spent several hours putting it out.

Everyone inside the home managed to get out safely.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, but damage is estimated at around half a million dollars.
