Fire destroys Georgetown home, no injuries

Several people have been displaced after a house fire just outside Georgetown.
The Halton Hills Fire Department says it happened just before noon on Saturday.
Early reports indicate that the fire broke out sometime around 5 p.m. near Eight Line, north of 22 Sideroad.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and authorities are calling the home a complete loss.
Neighbours called 911 after they noticed smoke and fire coming from the area.
Witnesses say that the fire caused the roof to collapse.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
