Fire destroys Flamborough home
A morning fire in Flambourough has left a family homeless.
More than 50 firefighters and emergency workers worked to put out a stubborn fire on 71 Concession Rd. 11 East off of Highway 6 just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
No one was injured. Three adults escaped the home and are now staying with relatives. Damage to the one storey house is estimated to be $400,000.
The cause of the fire is now being investigated.
