Fire death in Brant County

One person is dead after a house fire on Bateman Line in Brant County.

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is now investigating.

The victim’s name is not being released until family is notified.

Bateman Line between 2nd Line/Sour Springs Road and Burtch Road/1st Line will be closed for several hours for the investigation.
