Final voyage for the Maid of the Mist

After 167 years, the Maid of the Mist has taken its final voyage on the Canadian side of the river.  A handful of tourists boarded the boat for the last time just before five Thursday afternoon.  The Maid of the Mist lost the Niagara Parks Commission docking contract to another company.  Hornblower will begin operating boat tours next spring.  The Maid of the Mist will still operate from a dock on the U.S. Side of the Niagara river.
